Mortimer celebrates Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee.
Preparations continue at pace for what promises to be a truly memorable celebration of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
Celebrations start with the lighting of a beacon, on the Fairground on Thursday 2nd June (21.45), synchronised with thousands across the country.
On Bank Holiday Friday 3rd Mortimer is treated to a unique cabaret show from 18.00.
Saturday 4th begins with a procession through the village that herald a day of Fairground entertainment into the evening.

The commemorations are rounded off with a service of thanksgiving at St John’s church at 16.00
