Hedges along The Street have been cut back by West Berkshire Council, at the parish council’s request, to increase the pavement width, particularly for parents and school children.

telegraph poles make  widening the stretch further difficult but the parish council continues to explore options to widen where possible and is expected to ensure bi-annual cutting  maintain the current improvement.
