Earlier this week, Jennifer Broom (Mortimer Dramatic Society) and Neil Johnson (1st Mortimer Scouts) were each presented with community awards by parish council chairman Mike Dennett.
These public-nominated awards, comprising a hand-drawn plate themed around the individual’s contribution, are given for outstanding community service.
