roadside EV charging for Burghfield common
Four roadside electric vehicle chargers will be installed in Burghfield Common in June as part of West Berkshire Council’s roll out of grant-funded street-light powered chargers.
The qualifying streets are Omers Rise, Hollybush Lane and Abbots Road. The locations won’t initially at least be reserved for electric vehicles. There’s information of how it all works HERE
The council is expected to announce other options for streets that aren’t suited to the lamp post chargers soon and to continue to explore the possibility of fast chargers in village car parks.
