I represent the Burghfield and Mortimer” Ward (which includes Beech Hill & Wokefield) of West Berkshire District Council. We deal with housing, waste and recycling, council tax, education, libraries, social services, transport, planning, consumer protection, licensing, cemeteries and crematoria.

Introduction

I joined the council because I believe in/enjoy communicating and engaging with residents to both understand their needs/concerns and establish how the council can (and at times cannot) help. I work with fellow councillors and council staff to try to improve services. My newsletter summarises local activities.
